Robert Dawson is well known for his skillful composition and use of natural light, which bring to life his unique photographs of the American West. Dawson's romance with the West started as a young boy growing up in Texas, and continues to this day. When he's not capturing some of the wildest and most beautiful places in America on film, he's working horses at his home in Joseph, Oregon. Dawson has published and contributed to many books, and his photos are frequently seen in several Western-themed magazines. His donations of photographic prints have raised over fifteen thousand dollars for Agriculture in the Classroom, a program designed to promote an increased awareness of agriculture among US students.
